I am Mohammad Hossen Ahammed, the founder of Ewaste-Hawker Enterprise. I embarked on my professional journey as a remittance warrior in 2007, working in Malaysia and Oman until 2012, with the aim of contributing to the economic and social development of my country and family. Driven by a deep love for my country and a desire to make a meaningful impact, I returned home and engaged in various endeavors. In 2016, I ventured into the telecom business, later expanding into mobile servicing. Alhamdulillah, through these ventures, I have successfully achieved self-reliance.

As I reached this point of self-sufficiency, I felt compelled to think beyond my personal needs and contribute to the welfare of my country and its people. This desire to engage in something beneficial for the world led to the establishment of our online-based e-waste recycling company, Ewaste-Hawker Enterprise, in 2023. This company is entirely non-profit, with the primary goal of working for the betterment of society.

Interestingly, this vision aligns closely with Dr. Muhammad Yunus’s concept of a world of three zeros. Although we were unaware of his vision during our initial planning stages, upon hearing about it during the 2024 Olympic Games, we realized that our goals and Dr. Yunus’s vision are remarkably similar. This realization has made me feel incredibly proud.
